Are you involving in problem of noisy or shaking ceiling fan in your house? I have a secret tip of solving that problem.
If you let a technician install a ceiling fan in your house but when you turn it on it start shaking and very noisy. You ask him how to eliminate what so happen ,he'll tell you that it's come from defect of the fan that you buy or your ceiling material is not suitable for ceiling fan. So, how to do ? I'll show you how to solve it.
What you have to have are:
- 2.50 m. self standing ladder
- metal measuring tape
There are three blades on each fan. The most of all problems is that when technician install the fan he just mobilize the fan by screwing all screws and all fittings then fix the completed set at the ceiling hook without adjusting anything else.
After turn on the fan so it come out with a shaking fan.
All you have to do is bending each blade end to the same level. Assuming that the ceiling is in level, right, it should be. Then you measure the distance between blade and ceiling. Adjust each blade end by bending with your hand until the distances to ceiling of each blade are equal. Then climbing down and try to operate the fan, if your adjustment is correct the fan will smoothly and quietly rotate.
Don't forget to check that all screws are firmly tighten.
